Dr. Rachel Halpern is an accomplished endodontist with a passion for delivering exceptional care. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Mathematics. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating with multiple honors and awards including the American Association of Endodontics Award.
After dental school, Dr. Halpern completed a 1-year general practice residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, NY advancing her training in dental trauma and surgical skills. Subsequently, she pursued 2-year specialty training in Endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry where she was trained in the latest advancements and techniques in the field.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Halpern is a dedicated researcher and educator. She is nationally recognized for her research on External Invasive Resorption which won the resident student achievement award at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Halpern’s research on External Invasive Resorption was published in The Journal of Endodontics in February 2025. Dr. Halpern holds a clinical faculty position in the Department of Dentistry at Jersey Shore Medical Center, where she teaches endodontics to the dental residents.
Dr. Halpern is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Monmouth Ocean County Dental Society, New Jersey Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Alpha Omega Dental Society.
Dr. Halpern was born and raised in West Long Branch, NJ and attended the Academy of Allied Health and Science High School. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children, exercising, traveling, and baking.
